Help Topic
The
Start Date
is made up of two fields, a date which is selected from the calendar, and a time, which is entered as 'hh:mm AM|PM' or, if unknown, 'TBD'.
The
End Date
is made up of two fields, a date selected from the calendar, and a time, which is entered as 'hh:mm AM|PM' or, if unknown, 'TBD'.
The
Tentative
checkbox is used to mark the event as having uncertain or incomplete information.
The
Category
field describes the general topic for the event. Select an item from this list when creating the event.
The
Title
field is used to briefly describe the event.
The
Location
field identifies the location of the event. If unknown, mark the event as 'tentative' and enter '?'.
The
Description
field provides a place to describe any details about the event that you want published.
The
Permission Slip
field allows you to upload an event-specific document or image intended for only this event. If you have already uploaded a document, it will appear above the input field. When you upload a new document, the old one will be deleted. If you want to reference information that is used on many similar events, create a 'help topic' for those documents and reference it below.
The
Help Topic
field allows you to supply additional information by pointing to a help topic. In the help topic, you can include as many resources as you need. For example, for a weekend campout, you can point to a help topic that includes what to bring, how to plan the menu, what to expect when you first get into camp, etc.
